The Buffet Crampon 400 Series of saxophones is designed for the advanced student through the professional saxophonist. They are meticulously hand engraved throughout and assembled for the highest level of quality and workmanship. With keywork to high F# and an exceptional response in the upper and lower registers, the 400 Series saxophones provide even response and intonation.
These horns have all the top end features, such as metal resonators, double arms on low C, B, and Bb keys, ribbed construction, mother-of-pearl key touches, and high F#. They play with a focused clear tone but still a bit of edge, making them extremely versatile for all styles of play. This alto features the matte finish.
