The Armory Series is the latest embodiment of Mapex's hybrid case concept. A fusion of birch and maple offers maximum tonal expression, and the SONIClear bearing edge allows the head to sit flat, providing the best response by optimizing the relationship between head and shell.

CHARACTERISTICS:

The 6-ply 7.2mm birch/maple/birch shell with new SONIClear Bearing Edge enables direct sound transmission, reduces unwanted frequencies and provides a strong fundamental tone and an effortless tuning experience, especially on lower tunings.
This 5-piece set includes 10" and 12" stand-mounted rack toms, 16" Napoleon, 14" snare, and 22"x18" bass drum.
SONIClear tom suspension and Napoleon feet increase overall resonance by preserving vibration in the shell and shifting tension away from the tension rods, helping heads stay in tune.
